In 2022, amid a global economic downturn, the Company continued to invest in research and development without pause. As of mid-2022, the number of patents obtained by the Company in various countries and regions is as follows: China – 74; Taiwan – 72; the United States – 60; Germany – 32; the European Union – 29; Japan – 14; and the United Kingdom – 3. Among these, 55 are invention patents, while 89 are other types, including utility models or designs. Additionally, multiple patents are currently under examination in the aforementioned regions.

The Taiwan Excellence Awards are yearly awards that are given out by the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) and Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) to encourage Taiwan industries to upgrade and incorporate innovation and value into their products. The selection of awards is based on four criteria: R&D, design, quality, and marketing. Each product must score evenly well in each category in order to be selected.

In December 2015, our company obtained design patent authorization certificates from the Intellectual Property Office of the Ministry of Economic Affairs for D 172385 and D 172386, titled "Operation Panel with Screen." With this, the number of our valid patents officially exceeded 100, reaching a total of 101. Since its establishment, our company has recognized that patent rights are an indispensable part of sustainable business development. In addition to respecting the patent rights of others, it is also necessary to secure our own rights through obtaining patents. Our company has long focused on the power product sector, and the patents we apply for are intended to ensure that the ingenuity demonstrated by our engineers during product development is effectively protected. We avoid indiscriminate patent creation. The patents we have obtained, such as Taiwan Patent M 500915 – "Real-Time Clock Calibration Circuit for Multiple CPUs" or U.S. Patent US 6,859,127 B1 – "Device for Combining Annular Transformers in a Machine Housing," are practical patents that can be applied to products. In 2015, despite the continued global economic downturn, our company continued to invest in R&D without pause, obtaining 25 patents in countries including the United States, the European Union, and Germany that year. By the end of 2015, the total number of patents obtained by our company in various countries was: China 34, Taiwan 33, the United States 13, Germany 9, and the European Union 12. Among these, 12 are invention patents, and 89 are other types such as new models or designs, with multiple patents still under examination in the aforementioned regions.
